I use self-hosted Umami for pageview statistics, including referring websites, browser/device information and approximate location. Analytics do not set cookies. IP addresses are processed to derive daily visitor identifiers and location estimates, but are not stored in analytics records. URL queries, fragments and referrer paths are excluded.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. An opt-out is saved in this browser’s local storage for this site. Live analytics are retained for 90 days; encrypted backups rotate through seven daily, four weekly and six monthly snapshots. Operational server logs are separate.
Analytics do not run without JavaScript.
